Lil Baby returns with his third project of the year, less than two months after the Billboard 200-topping Drip Harder alongside Gunna. The 23-year-old delivered his gritty Street Gossip mixtape on Friday (Nov. 30), serving as the next project in line for Quality Control Music’s 2018 fourth quarter domination.
Baby calls on a bunch of fellow ATL natives to complete his star-studded guest list. The 13-track effort sees features from Young Thug, Offset, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Gunna, Meek Mill, and more. He celebrated the project’s release Thursday night (Nov. 29) by hosting a free concert for fans in Atlanta, which was also livestreamed online for those unable to attend.
Just one hour or so after Street Gossip hit streaming services, the “My Dawg” rapper took a moment to thank Quality Control co-founder Pierre “Pee” Thomas for changing his life. “When I first started rapping, I wanted to sign to [Gucci Mane] even thought [Pee] was my brother,” Lil Baby wrote on Instagram. “Between Migos and Yachty, I was like how Pee can do it? In a matter of months, he helped change my life.”
