Lil Baby and Gunna’s heavily anticipated collaborative project is finally here. The new faces of ATL’s hip-hop landscape officially unleashed Drip Harder on Friday (Oct. 5). DH clocks in at an appetizing 38 minutes, spanning 13 tracks with a few special guests penciled in.
The “Drip Too Hard” rappers shine brightest on the slippery joint effort, but they made sure to leave room for cameos from fellow Atlanta pioneer Young Thug, Lil Durk, Nav, and Drake, who serves up blazing rhymes over hard-hitting Tay Keith production on “Never Recover” to close out the project.
Georgia native Turbo settled into his newfound role as executive producer, in addition to producing a few of the tracks making Drip Harder as well. “Baby gonna give you the street side of it; he’s gonna tell you his story, paint a picture,” he told Rolling Stone. “Gunna gonna come with his pain and how to get through it.”
