Kodak Black was reportedly sentenced to 364 days in county jail Thursday (May 4) after violating his house arrest. Last month, he was found guilty of the probation violation, which included going to a Miami-Dade strip club and a boxing match in Ohio without the authorization of his probation officer.
According to the Sun Sentinel, the 19-year-old Pompano Beach rapper (real name Dieuson Octave) — who has been in the Broward Main Jail since Feb. 28 — could be out in 30 days if he completes a life skills course.
Despite his incarceration, on March 31, he released his Atlantic Records debut Painting Pictures, which hit No. 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and hosts the Billboard Hot 100 hit “Tunnel Vision.”
A rep for Black did not immediately respond to Billboard‘s request for comment.
