After finding major success with his March album Painting Pictures, Kodak Black has been feeding his fans new releases. Over the weekend, the Project Baby rhymer dished out his new song “Boost My Ego” featuring Future.
The triumphant track finds the Pompano Beach star relishing his new-found success and being “all about his music.” “Took me out the ‘jects, now I’m flyin’ private jets, n—a/ ‘Member snatchin’ chains, I got my own around my neck, n—a,” raps Black.
On “Boost My Ego,” Future chefs up the hook with a dash of his signature Auto-Tuned flavor. “Hermes belts and drapes, keep my doggies straight/ Kodak buyin’ a Wraith, soon as he beat the case,” he croons on the chorus.
After whispers of a possible sequel to his 2013 album Project Baby pervaded the web, Black tantalized his fans on Instagram last week with the album artwork. “#ProjectBaby2,” read the caption on Instagram.
While there’s no release date for Project Baby 2, “Boost My Ego” likely serves as the project’s first release. Listen to the song below.
