Cleveland upstart Kipp Stone, celebrates his favorite Marvel hero, the Black Panther, with his new song “100 Black Panthers.”
The soulfully striking ode finds Stone showing love to T’Challa, the man behind the mask — a prince from the fictional, tech-savvy African nation of Wakanda — and star of the beloved comic from Ta-Nehisi Coates.
In May, The Hollywood Reporter reported that The Black Panther was the year’s best-selling comic to date and Black Panther film is also slated for July 6, 2018.
“100 Black Panthers” continues Stone’s hot streak in 2016. The Ohio native won fans over when he unleashed a strong helping of bangers including “30FTALL,” “Seen It All” and “Cult Classic.”
