Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have welcomed their first child into the world, but not everyone is celebrating.
Kardashian gave birth to a baby girl with her boyfriend by her side at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood. Reaction online hasn’t been as explosive as when West made the announcement of Kardashian’s pregnancy back in December, but plenty of stars took notice. Comments on Twitter have ranged from the sincere to the snide.

Music mogul Russell Simmons tweeted “There is no greater gift in life than a child’s laughter!” Seinfeld alum Jason Alexander was much harsher. In a now-deleted tweet, Alexander retweeted a TMZ story about the news, and added his own commentary: “Making Honey Boo Boo look like a MENSA member.”
