On the heels of being cast in Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming HBO drama series We Are Who We Are, Kid Cudi returned Monday (July 22) with more good news that will further tap into his multi-faceted creativity. Cudder will executive produce, star, write and soundtrack an animated Netflix series based on his forthcoming album, Entergalactic.
“Im just gettin started!! ‘Entergalactic’ coming next year,” the Cleveland native tweeted. Entergalactic will serve as Cudi’s first solo LP since 2016’s Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’. The animated series pits the Cleveland native alongside fellow executive producers Kenya Barris (Black-ish) and Ian Edelman (How to Make It in America).
Cudi continued to tease fans about the unique project. “Entergalactic will be something you’ve never experienced,” he claimed. “I promise it’ll be a fun ride. Lot of good friends involved. Great songs too! The cast is coming together. I know a year from now seems like forever but itll be here before u know it!”
