On the 18th anniversary of Notorious B.I.G.‘s death, Kendrick Lamar paid tribute to the late rapper by spitting a freestyle over a few Biggie beats, including the Method Man-assisted “The What.”
On the freestyle — which Lamar spit on Big Boy’s new radio show on Real 92.3 — he boasts about his talent and being the “only n—a next to Snoop that can push the button.”

Lamar’s sophomore major-label studio album is slated to drop on March 23. The title and track list of the 16-song album — except for single “The Blacker the Berry” — are untitled (or perhaps it’s titled Untitled). It’s available for pre-order on iTunes now.
