The rollout for Kanye West’s upcoming Yeezy Season 6 collection has been anything but traditional. After debuting his Yeezy Season 5 range last February, Kanye decided to ditch the traditional fashion runway for Season 6 and instead employ his wife, Kim Kardashian, as the sole model to debut the much-hyped line.
That is, until earlier this week when paparazzi-style photos of Kim K clones dressed in Yeezy Season 6 were peppered throughout social media feeds. The Kim look-alikes re-created the styles and settings from the social media lookbook Kim K debuted in November, where the mogul was pictured “running errands” in Calabasas dressed in the athleisure line.
To pull off the Yeezy Season 6 takeover, Kim and Kanye enlisted a slew of famous friends and models to promote the collection online, including Paris Hilton, Jordyn Woods, the Clermont Twins and more. Their names are likely to ring bells, but who are the ladies of the Yeezy Season 6 campaign?
Here’s a breakdown of Kim’s K army below:
Paris Hilton needs no introduction. The heiress and Kim Kardashian were best friends in the early 2000s during Paris’ The Simple Life reality TV show reign. Although they’ve been rumored to have a lengthy feud, Kim laid all rumors to rest when she cast Paris as one of the leading Kim Klones in the Yeezy Season 6 campaign, dubbing the heiress “The OG.”
Jordyn Woods is known to many as Kylie Jenner’s best friend, and the 20-year-old also has a successful modeling career. She was discovered on Instagram by a representative for Wilhelmina Models and has inked campaigns with Addition Elle and LOVESICK and also walked in shows for Lane Bryant and Chromat.
By height requirements, Amina Blue doesn’t exactly fit the mold of the fashion industry’s “traditional” model type, but that hasn’t stopped the pint-size, 5-foot-1 model from becoming one of Kanye’s go-to Yeezy models. She made her debut at the Yeezy Season 1 show in 2015 and recently became known as the girl who kicked off her shoes at Kanye’s Yeezy Season 4 show.
The Clermont Twins
Shannon and Shannade Clermont rose to fame after starring on season 14 of the popular Oxygen reality TV series Bad Girls Club. Since then, the sisters have built a massive following on their joint Instagram account with more than 500,000 followers and launched a women’s clothing line called Mont Boudoir.
With more than 3.3 million followers on Instagram, it’s no wonder Kim K and Kanye recruited Sierra Skye for the Yeezy Season 6 campaign. Sierra is signed to the talent agency Elite Miami as a swimsuit model and has modeled for swimwear brands Prey Swim and Boutine LA.
Kristen Noel Crawley
Kristen Noel Crawley is a beauty guru, writer and owner of KNC Beauty. She’s known by her 200,000 followers (and counting) for her streetwear-influenced style and KNC Beauty lip masks.
Like Jordyn, Anastasia Karanikolaou, aka Stassie Baby, is another longtime friend of Kylie’s who has built up her brand through Instagram. Thanks to all 2.8 million of her loyal followers, Stassie has inked a partnership with Kardashian/Jenner-approved clothing site PrettyLittleThing.
Sarah Snyder is a model and the ex-girlfriend of Jaden Smith. The model walked in the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2017 fashion show during Milan Fashion Week 2017 and recently landed the cover of Vogue Japan.
Abigail used to work as a bartender, paralegal and secretary before gaining more than 8 million followers on Instagram. Now, Abigail is a swimsuit model earning over $170,000 on Instagram each year.
Pink has become Chinq Pink’s signature color, and while most of the Yeezy Season 6 models donned blonde wigs — courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Tokyo Stylez — Chinq Pink stayed true to her pink-hued mane. Chinq Pink is a model for clothing site Dolls Kill.
Sami Miro is a Los Angeles-based designer, model and ex-girlfriend of actor Zac Efron. The designer’s brand, Sami Miro Vintage, has been seen on celebrities including Selena Gomez, Bella Hadid and Kylie Jenner. Miro has also collaborated with retail giant Forever 21 for a limited-edition collection of vintage pieces.
Sahara Ray has made a living on Instagram as a swimsuit model and designer of her namesake swimwear label Sahara Ray Swim.
