West hasn’t formally announced the concert and it’s not yet listed on the Hollywood Bowl’s calendar, but pre-sale tickets for the show begin Aug. 31 and the general on-sale starts Sept. 4.
The auto-tune heavy 808s & Heartbreak, West’s fourth album, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in December 2008.

The rapper has performed many songs from the set over the years, including “Heartless,” “Say You Will,” “Coldest Winter” and “Love Lockdown,” as Rolling Stone points out. But many have disappeared from his set list at recent concerts.
Meanwhile, there’s still no update on the release of West’s forthcoming album, SWISH. In late July, he debuted the Steve McQueen-directed music video for his latest single “All Day” in Los Angeles. The rapper’s last album, Yeezus, arrived in 2013.
