Kanye West is back stateside. Yeezy decided to pop up at Teyana Taylor’s San Francisco show on Wednesday night (Sept. 5) as she begins to put the finishing touches on her unique KTSE Tour. The Chicago rapper joined his G.O.O.D. Music signee on stage for a special surprise performance of “Hurry” off Taylor’s 2018 K.T.S.E. album.
The raucous San Francisco crowd was sent into a deafening roar when they realized that it was indeed Mr. West behind a pair of sunglasses, who promptly served up his assist on the sultry K.T.S.E. deep cut. Yeezy decided to stick around on stage to take in all of the positive energy from the fervent fans as the Harlem native brought the show to a close.
The 41-year-old posted footage he captured to Twitter overnight Thursday (Sept. 6) following the show. The clip features Teyana on stage with her daughter Junie, instructing fans to put a fist in the sky with a photo of Colin Kaepernick on the screen at her back. “We going to sing this song for everybody that turned they back on Colin Kaepernick,” she told the crowd, before moving into “Gonna Love Me” to conclude the epic night.
