Kanye West has fully emerged from his months-long ditial silence with a flurry of thoughts, feelings and digital enthusiastic posts. The latest object of his fancy is a customized Model S Tesla that was apparently purchased a few weeks ago. ‘Ye took the opportunity on Earth Day on Sunday (Apr. 22) to shout out his pal Tesla founder Elon Musk to let him know how much he’s feeling the new fossil fuel-free wheels. In a series of tweets (which Musk retweeted) West gushed about his new Tesla plug-in, tweeting “I really love my Tesla. I’m in the future. Thank you Elon.”

He followed with a jokey-sounding tweet that read: “I heard these are really good for the environment.” Assuming ‘Ye got one of the Model 3’s, he could be cruising around L.A. and getting 220 miles per charge.

And he wasn’t done yet. Assuming he wasn’t texting and driving, West seemed revved up about his latest toy, promising that he was “bout to take this whole thing to mars.”

Grammar was no match for how excited West was about his new ride.

In addition to tweeting about producing a new Nas album, as well as ones from Pusha T and Teyana Taylor and a joint effort with Kid Cudi, West has also continued espousing his philosophical thoughts (“practice pure love”) on Twitter and posting iconic photos from some of his favorite 20th century conceptual artists, including performance artist Joseph Beuys.
