Kanye West Debuts ‘Only One’ Video Game Trailer
Donda West died at age 58 in November 2007 of heart failure a day after plastic surgery. West has continued to pay tribute to his mom in the years since her death, honoring her for the crucial role she played in his life. At the Yeezy Season 3 fashion show in November he wore a shirt with an airbrushed image of Donda and the words “In Loving Memory” and his 2015 with Sir Paul McCartney, “Only One,” was written from her perspective looking down from heaven. She also made an appearance riding a white pegasus into heaven in the new video game Only One: The Game.
“The idea of the game is my mom traveling through the gates of heaven,” West said at the Yeezy show. “I just wanna bring as much beauty to the world as possible.”
