Kanye West has “fixed” and uploaded a new version of “Wolves” on Tidal.
The redux of “Wolves,” lifted from West’s latest album The Life of Pablo, features Vic Mensa and Sia. The pair’s contribution appeared in an earlier version of “Wolves” West debuted in February 2015 at a New York presentation for his Adidas shoe, the Adidas Yeezy 750 Boost.
But when TLOP dropped a year later, an updated cut of “Wolves” carried new verses from Kanye and an outro by Frank Ocean, and the efforts of Mensa and Sia were gone.
The latest edit is a minute longer and Ocean’s contribution now appears on TLOP as its own work, “Frank’s Track.”
Earlier in the day, West tweeted, “Fixing Wolves 2day… Worked on it for 3 weeks. Life Of Pablo is a living breathing changing creative expression. #contemporaryart.”

The outspoken rapper has been prolific on Twitter of late. On the weekend, he tweeted an ambitious plan to release three albums per year, coming soon after his boast that he will no longer release physical albums. When his seventh studio album dropped Feb. 14 via GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings, he announced: “My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on Tidal.”
