After meeting with President-elect Donald Trump at the Trump Tower in New York City on Tuesday morning (Dec. 13), Kanye West apparently walked away with a souvenir.
The outspoken rapper — who made his second public appearance after being hospitalized last month (he popped up at a Rick Owens: Furniture exhibition in Los Angeles last week, sporting a new blonde hairdo) — shared an image on Twitter of an autographed issue of the latest TIME magazine, in which Trump was named “Person of the Year.”
“To Kanye, you are a great friend,” wrote Trump, along with a “thanks” and his signature.

West also revealed on Twitter that the two had met to discuss “multicultural issues.” He further explained, “These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago. I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.”
He also posted the hashtag “#2024” suggesting that he could make a presidential run that year, after claiming at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards that he decided he would run in 2020.
