Roc Nation’s Brooklyn songbird Justine Skye has baired up with Jeremih for their sparking collaboration “Back for More.” Serving as her first offering from her untitled debut album, Skye finds herself craving the love of an old partner.
“I’m pretty sure we’ve all had a situation where a certain ex or person finds their way back in your life,” says Skye. “I’ve realized that it’s not about dwelling over it and overthinking.”
Produced by Hitmaka and AyoNKeys, Skye enlists Jeremih to help her ease back into the saddle of romance. “Hitmaka and AyoNKeyz sent the song over, and it spoke volumes to what was really going on with me,” the singer explains.
For Skye, landing the right male vocalist on “Back for More” was imperative. Without hesitation, she tapped Jeremih to help execute the song’s hook.
“Jeremih is a dope artist,” she says. “The hook of the song was always meant for a guy to sing, and we felt like Jeremih would execute it the best. And he added the perfect vibe to the track.”
