Always freshly suited, Wondaland Records’ Jidenna polishes his slick persona with the “Classic Man” remix. Featuring Kendrick Lamar, the song has an anthem-like appeal that grabs your ears and gets you on your feet.
Lamar steps in first, opening with an agile flow and quick cadence that bobs and weaves around Jidenna’s relaxed vocals. The boys balance each other out, with Lamar bringing the hype while Jidenna tackles the suave. “Baby, I’m a classic man,” the latter sings (as if the suit didn’t speak for itself).
