Los Angeles MC Jez Dior returns with the Elijah Blake-assisted love note titled “Forever,” premiering exclusively on Billboard. After blending hints of grunge with rap on releases like 2013’s “Candles” and “Love Me To Death” and recent cuts like “Parachutes” and “The Line,” Dior takes a more melodic approach with his new material.
“”Forever” is a song about something that everyone strives for… eternal love,” Dior tells Billboard. “It is usually something unattainable. “Forever” captures the constant struggle of trying to grasp the dream of holding on to the initial feelings you have in the beginning of a relationship.”
Dior’s collaborator Blake adds, “I’ve been trying to stay away from features lately but this record was one of those magical moments that I knew I had to be a part of. Soon as I heard the intro I was in. I got a strong feeling the world will fall in love with is just as I did on first listen.”
Spin “Forever” below and stay tuned for Jez Dior’s forthcoming project landing this summer.
