UPDATE: A rep for Best Buy issued the following statement to Billboard: “Right now, customers can head to more than 800 Best Buy stores nationwide or visit BestBuy.com and pick up Jeremih’s latest album Late Nights.”
Jeremih took to Twitter to air out his grievances with his label Def Jam Records on Sunday (Dec. 13). One week after the surprise release of his highly anticipated effort Late Nights: The Album, the R&B singer tweeted that a mere “6-7” copies of the LP were allegedly shipped to Best Buy stores.

Late Nights: The Album experienced several pushbacks over the last year, including Sept. 30 and Nov. 4 release dates, before eventually landing on Dec. 4. He spoke about his issues with his label in an interview with Billboard last month.
“My label is hesitating and not being on my side,” he said at the time. “I see other artists and how they’re supported. It’s hard when I’m on a roster with Rihanna, Rick Ross and Kanye West.”
