
Jeezy is spreading the good word on his eighth studio effort Church In These Streets. For the remix to his latest offering “God,” it was only fitting that the Atlanta rapper recruited one of New York’s finest, Nas.
“I’m for a mature audience, reppin’ the Empire State,” the Queens rapper spits. “I’m on my God flow, they call me God’s Son / Vernon Boulevard, holy one.”

The Snowman recently kicked off his tour in support of Church in These Streets, which Jeezy recorded as he reflected on his Los Angeles arrest in the midst of riots against police brutality across the country.
“I had my incident in L.A. where [the police] locked me up, and it brought me back down to humble level,” Jeezy told MTV News in an interview last week. “At some point you have a career and success, and you forget that people go through that every day. Even though it ain’t your problem, that still happens, so I’m speaking for those people.”
