
Jeezy is out promoting a new studio album, Seen It All: The Autobiography, one of hip-hop’s most anticipated releases of 2014. On Sept. 4, he stopped by The Tonight Show for a one-of-a-kind performance of album cut “No Tears.”
Future was on hand — in the flesh and in all his Auto-Tuned glory — to lend a big-time assist and bring the album version of “No Tears” to life. But they don’t play it completely by the book. This is Fallon, so of course the Roots lent a hand to the performance, which swapped Mike Will Made It’s synchronized, streamlined production for some live band flair.
And credit Jeezy for opening the song with a shout out to Joan Rivers, who passed away Sept. 4 at the age of 81.
