Jeezy returns after a relatively quiet 2017 with a pair of brand new tracks that suggest new project is on the way. The Atlanta native’s last offering came just over a year ago when he released his seventh studio album, Trap or Die 3. This next set is supposed to be called Snow Season, but is still without a release date.
Jeezy initially teased both tunes on social media before hitting streaming services Thursday night. On the first record, “Cold Summer,” Detroit native Tee Grizzley jumps on to assist on the icy track, which features a 2Pac “Street Fame” sample.
Next, Jeezy teamed up with Bad Boy Records CEO Puff Daddy, who blessed the “Bottles Up” trap beat with a vintage verse on the superstar collaborative effort. The industry heavyweights exchange bars on a stripped down Three 6 Mafia “Tear Da Club Up” sample.
