As if releasing his 12th studio album, “Magna Carta Holy Grail,” early to Samsung users for free isn’t a bold enough statement, Salisbury Cathedral is placing Jay-Z’s album cover art on display.
The cathedral, located in the United Kingdom, is famous for having one of four remaining original copies of the Magna Carta. From now till end of July, Jay-Z’s album cover will be displayed alongside the real document within the “Magna Carta Holy Grail” exhibit. Jay-Z formally announced the exquisite installation on his website, Life + Times, today (July 2).
Evidently, Jay-Z is making his own history. “Magna Carta Holy Grail” is expected to be certified platinum by the RIAA based on the release deal with Samsung.
“Magna Carta Holy Grail” will be released for everyone on July 9.
