J. Cole seems to be teasing something new — and East Coast fans are abuzz with speculation and excitement.
The rapper tweeted this cryptic message to his NYC fans, shrouded in violet, with the Dreamville Record logo up top: “No phones/ No cameras/ No bags/ No press list/ No guest list.” The event promises to begin at 6pm at Gramercy Theatre in Manhattan.

J. Cole has also cleared all his Instagram posts and turned his account’s color scheme into deep purple. The last we’ve heard from J. Cole was back in 2016, when he dropped 4 Your Eyez Only. So naturally, Cole’s fans are frantic to know whether the rapper is teasing new music, about to announce a tour — or just taking them all for a ride.
