Iggy Azalea is coming under fire by fans for the delay of her upcoming EP, Wicked Lips.
On Sunday (Nov. 24), the 29-year-old rap star addressed fans’ frustration about the delay of EP, which was scheduled to drop on Nov. 22.
“Please cut me some extra slack guys, I hear your frustration about the EP delay,” Azalea tweeted. “Im not ignoring your questions because I don’t care. sometimes I cant give fans explanations because I’m Just not comfortable sharing everything publicly. I appreciate you guys understanding.”
The EP delay comes a day after it was reported that Azalea and her boyfriend Playboi Carti were robbed of $366,000 worth of jewelry from their rental home in Atlanta.
Earlier this year, the Aussie rapper dropped her heavily anticipated sophomore album, In My Defense. About a year prior to the album release, Azalea left her then-label Island Records and signed a multi-year partnership with EMPIRE.
