Idris Elba is a man of many talents, and the latest example is his guest appearance on a British grime track, where he namechecks some of his most famous roles.
The just-released remix to U.K. grime artist Skepta’s song “Shutdown” features the Luther star guest-rapping, and among the rhymes he namechecks Stringer Bell, his iconic character from The Wire: “See that Wire? Shut it down/ Ain’t nobody else selling brown/ Ain’t nobody else Stringer Bell/ Boy from the East End did well.”
