
Members of the hip-hop community paid their respects to Michael Brown on the one-year anniversary of his death in Ferguson, Mo., on Sunday, Aug. 9.

Artists like Common, Questlove, Big Bio and many others took to Twitter on Sunday to remember 18-year-old Brown, who was fatally shot by Ferguson officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9, 2014.
“A year ago #MikeBrown’s life was taken for no reason good enough,” Common wrote on the social media site. “Now we fight to change America in his honor.”
