The new song will come out on his upcoming STN MTN / KAUAI mixtape, out later this year on DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz label. Notably, it will not be released via Glassnote, his label which he trashed earlier this year over what he claimed was the mishandling of his album Because the Internet and single “Sweatpants.”
That mixtape title comes from rapper Gambino’s (née Donald Glover, who you may know from TV’s Community) childhood homes in Stone Mountain, Georgia and Hawaii’s Kauai island.

“Sober” comes out with some early era Michael Jackson-like production and cool crooning. On it, he sings, “And now that it’s over, I’ll never be sober / I couldn’t believe, but now I’m so high.”
