After splitting with Universal Music in July, the “fresh start” Azealia Banks had hoped for is arriving with new music for the first time in a while and her long-delayed debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, likely on the horizon.

Following “Heavy Metal and Reflective,” released in July with a video in August, Banks’ new “Chasing Time” is a hook heavy pseudo-sung track that rides the line with hip-hop and pop over some crisp house production.
Though no date has been announced for Broke With Expensive Taste just yet, this new self-released seapunk single seems to be a good sign it’s coming soon enough. Listen here:
