
Rapper Gucci Mane will be released from prison one year earlier than expected.
Gucci Mane Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison
An Atlanta judge has ruled that Gucci will be given one year’s worth of credit for the prison time he’s served since being arrested in September 2013 for possession of a firearm, according to TMZ.
The 34-year-old rapper’s 39-month sentence was originally scheduled to begin in August 2014. He was sentenced on Aug. 20 after pleading guilty to a federal firearms charge.

Gucci is now scheduled to be released in December 2016, TMZ reports.
The prison sentence hasn’t deterred the rapper from making music. In recent months, he’s released the digital albums Trap House 4, The Oddfather and Gucci Vs Guwop.
