In 2015, Gucci Mane teased that he would be dropping his first film The Spot. A prison stint and a few projects later, the Atlanta rapper is finally showing off his acting chops in the new straight-to-Worldstar flick, which also stars his fiancée Keyshia Ka’oir and rapper Rocko.
The nearly 47-minute film, directed by Mr. Boomtown, begins with a robbery taking place in ATL and a slightly heftier Gucci Mane play arguing with his partner, Lego (played by Rocko), who is also the co-owner of The Spot, where anything from weave-snatching to drug-selling goes down.
There could be more titles coming from Gucci Mane cinema as Rick Ross revealed in March that he was working on a movie alongside Gucci Mane.
The Spot also ollows the release of Guwop’s mixtape with Metro Boomin, Droptopwop, which dropped May 26, the one-year anniversary of his release from prison.
