Drake has made a habit of bringing native sons and daughters out to join him on his Summer Sixteen tour, and Thursday night’s gig in Atlanta was no different. After hooking up with Eminem in Detroit, Kanye West in Chicago, Rihanna in Toronto and LeBron James in Columbus, the 6 God blessed the ATL with an appearance by hometown hero Gucci Mane during his show at the Philips Arena. He also announced a short film is in the works slated for release next month.

The dynamic duo — who are rumored to be working on a joint project — performed Gucci’s “Back on Road,” and, a short time later, 2 Chainz came out for a run through their collabo, “Big Amount.” The guest shots came just a few weeks after Drizzy and 2 Chainz appeared at Guwop’s homecoming concert.

On Friday morning (Aug. 26) Drake also announced that he’s collaborated with director Anthony Mandler on a short film, Please Forgive Me, with a score by Drizzy’s longtime musical partner Noah “40” Shebib. The project is slated to drop on Sept. 30. A spokesperson for Drake could not be reached for further comment on the movie.
