Lil Nas X caught up with Gordon Ramsay while he was traveling through London last week. The celebrity chef’s team was there to document the encounter, as footage released on Sunday (July 7) found Gordon giving the “Old Town Road” artist a tutorial on how to cook the perfect panini, a nod to X’s track of the same name.

Ramsay came through on his promise to Nas X and invited him to be a special guest at his Lucky Cat Restaurant in London. Gordon brought the 20-year-old to the back kitchen and each made their own panini filled with different meats, cheeses, and spices. Ramsay even allowed Nas to celebrate by cutting his panini in half with a dangerous ax.
“Panini” debuted at No. 16 on the Hot 100 last week, the highest of any 7 tracks outside of “Old Town Road,” which has spent 13 consecutive weeks at No. 1. The winning streak continued for Lil Nas X, as he came face-to-face with the iconic Janet Jackson backstage at Wireless Festival over the weekend. Cardi B brought out the Atlanta native as part of her headlining set.
