G-Eazy is ready to move on. The rapper (born Gerald Gillum), broke his silence on Sunday (May 6) about his arrest in Sweden last week on charges of assault, drug possession and resisting arrest. “Grateful & blessed to be free & safe,” he wrote alongside a black and white picture in which he is smiling at someone off camera. “Happy to be in Copenhagen tonight doing what I love most. Embarrassed and apologetic beyond words about the incident, but above all I’m so fucking grateful they let me go, craziest experience of my life.”
Eazy, 28, was arrested at a Swedish nightclub early Thursday morning (May 3) and pleaded guilty to all three charges on Friday (May 4), receiving a probationary sentence and a $10,000 fine and a payment to the bouncer who was a victim in the nightclub assault.
