Nearly a month after teaming with Blueface for the original bouncy track, G-Eazy adds YG and Oakland’s ALLBLACK to unite California with the “West Coast” remix. The Daniel CZ-directed visual for the posse cut arrived on Thursday (March 28), as the foursome pledge their allegiance to The Golden State.
Young Gerald’s braggadocios rhymes remain the same, as he and Blueface Baby cruise down Fairfax Ave in luxury. ALLBLACK injects himself into the black-and-white clip for a speedy verse. “I be with rich white boys you could’ve sworn was bums (That’s me)/ Spread the gang, feed your people, and come fuck with a thug/ Can’t no n—a take the credit for the plays I run,” he raps.
YG takes what’s left and rips through the Richie Rich “Let’s Ride” sample to bring the “West Coast” hyphy adventure to a close. “This shit forever, so I forever walk around with my pistol/ I’m the type to pull up on your bitch on her lunch break/ I’m the type she see and wanna fuck, I got a fuck face/ I’m somewhere big boolin’ on a Sunday/ Then it’s white socks and hard bottoms and brazy girls on Monday,” the 4Hunnid ceo confidently rhymes.
