The Atlanta native promised a “sensational” show leading up to Saturday night’s episode — and he didn’t fail to deliver.
To kick things off, the rapper popped in during host Jonah Hill’s opening monologue.
“This is my fourth time hosting, so I thought I’d mix it up,” Hill said. “We have an amazing guest tonight: Future. I am such a big fan of Future, I figure let’s just kick things off with a musical performance with Future featuring Drake.”

When Drake failed to appear, Hill welcomed the opportunity to fill in for the Toronto rapper and joined Future on the collaborative song “Jumpman.”
Later, for his first performance of the evening, Future brought out surprise guest The Weeknd to assist on “Low Life,” from the rapper’s latest album, EVOL. And with just a few weeks until the annual NCAA basketball tournament, the rapper chose his upbeat track “March Madness” for his closing performance.
