Future and Ciara may no longer be an item but the ex-couple is apparently a year and a half deep into a custody battle over their son, per the rapper’s recent tweets.
The Freebandz CEO took to Twitter on Monday (Jan. 4) to air out his grievances with CiCi, who gave birth to their son, baby Future Zahir Wilburn, last May while she and his father were still engaged.

This isn’t the first time the “March Madness” MC has been openly critical of Ciara’s parenting skills. Last July, the rapper appeared on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club and offered his thoughts on Ciara’s romance with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. “You don’t bring a man around your son,” Future said.
A rep for Ciara and Future did not immediately respond to Billboard‘s request for comment.
