Leave it to Ellen DeGeneres to bring out the 43-year-old dancer who went viral for nailing a hip-hop dance routine to Post Malone’s “Wow,” in order to perform said routine and get a surprise from the rapper on Monday’s (March 18) The Ellen Show.
With two backup dancers accompanying Mike Alancourt as he performed the exciting routine, the crowd clapped and cheered on the skilled dancer. When the performance ended, DeGeneres joined him and asked him if he can believe that “23 million people have seen [him]?”
“How ‘bout that, no I can,’t,” an excited Alancourt said. “Part of the initial impetus, a lot of people thought I was 60, I’m only 43, but honestly I just love dancing so much. I had such a good time in the video and I think that’s what people were connecting to and apparently 23 million people just wanted to have a good time with me.”
DeGeneres then gave the Jacksonville native a major surprise in the form of a video from Malone — who not only told the dancer he “kicks ass” but also invited him out to his show in Arizona.
