FKA Twigs Opens Up About Her Relationship With Robert Pattinson
In the interview, beyond the set’s approximate release date, Twigs reveals little on her much publicized relationship with actor Robert Pattinson, but does speak briefly on her disappointment when T-Pain — of all people — broke the news of the couple’s engagement to the world. She also spoke about the racism and online attacks she has experienced in her rise to fame, tedious relationship with the press and finding her new womanhood on this new record.

When asked about T-Pain’s accidental slip, Twigs tells interviewer Cedar Pasori, “I’d rather not talk about it.”
“Her response isn’t angry, or impatient, but genuinely sad,” writes Pasori.
Twigs continues, “It’s fine, I’m a pretty chill person, do you know what I mean? … If you can’t touch it, it’s not real.”
FKA Twigs, Run the Jewels, Beggars Group Lead Libera Awards Nominations
The attention around Twigs and Pattinson has been substantial, with the paparazzi following them since September. This has all brought unwanted attention to the singer, with Pattinson’s fans making racist slurs and vague threats about her on social media over her mixed-race heritage. Twigs said of the attacks, “I wouldn’t say I’m completely numb to it now, but there’s definitely a numbness there.”
“It is pretty horrible,” she added later. “But ultimately, I’m in an amazing relationship. So it doesn’t matter.”
