
Faith Evans and Stevie J. got married in Las Vegas on Tuesday night (July 17).
A spokesperson for Evans confirmed the news to Billboard, following reports on TMZ that the esteemed R&B singer and Grammy-winning producer had filed for a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, on Tuesday.

The couple have been teasing their upcoming single, “A Minute,” which is slate to drop on July 27. After reportedly splitting for a time last year, the pair reconciled and appeared in an amorous teaser clip for “A Minute” posted by Stevie J. last week.
It is the first Marriage for Stevie J., best known for his work as one of the Bad Boy Records in-house production team in the 1990s, including production for work on the Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death Album. He later appeared on the VH1 reality series Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta, where he was linked to Puerto Rican rapper Joseline Hernandez, with whom he has a daughter, one of his six children.
Evans has been a steady presence in the R&B world since her 1995 debut LP Faith, with her first four albums all being certified Platinum or Gold by the RIAA. She was married to The Notorious B.I.G. from 1994 until his murder in 1997, then to record exec Todd Russaw from 1998-2011; she has four children.
