Then, on Tuesday (Oct. 31), fittingly Halloween, the two rappers let it slip on The Angie Martinez Show on Power 105.1 that their “Freddy Vs. Jason” joint project is set to finally be released on Nov. 24. “It’s definitely coming,” Fabolous said. “I mean, we looking at Black Friday. I don’t even know if I was supposed to say that, but you just pulled it out of me.”
“Enough is enough,” Martinez said. “It’s time.”
“We tired of getting trolled online,” Fab admitted, referring to fans’ impatience.
Fab and Jada sat in with Martinez in their native New York dressed as movie killers Freddy Krueger and Jason respectively (Jadakiss’s real name is Jason). Their Halloween treat for Martinez was a bottle of vodka. Other talking points included their second “Freddy Vs. Jason” single called “Stand Up” featuring Future, Puerto Rico and the 10,000 hours rule.
“How good is the album, Fab, Kiss?” Martinez asked.
“It’s really good,” Fab said.
“One to ten?” Martinez prompted.
“I would say we in the high 9s,” Fab estimated. “We still got some more stuff to add to it.”
“That’s without tweaking anything,” Jadakiss added. “That’s just still raw.”
