Seventeen-year old London Richards follows up the debut of his first single, “Will You Wait,” by releasing a music video for the track, premiering exclusively on Billboard:
“Will You Wait” is the first single to be released from his upcoming EP, love, London. The video, shot in black and white, is directed by Nigel Parry, who has worked with a number of A-listers from Jay Z to Lady Gaga.
“We recently just wrapped up the EP. We’re sending it through the mixing process, so I’ll be back and forth with my engineers to make sure it sounds right,” Richards said in a previous interview with Billboard, where he also discussed his readiness as a performer. “As an artist, performing is my heart and soul. I just want to get in front of the people, let them hear the song live and give them a performance to remember.”
Richards moved from the U.K. to the U.S. six years ago, where buzz from the debut of “Will You Wait” drove the track to No. 6 on the real-time Billboard Twitter Emerging Artists chart.
