
After penning a handful of hits for notable singers (Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Jennifer Hudson), Eric Bellinger is stepping into the spotlight. Tomorrow (Feb. 11), the singer-songwriter will debut his first commercial effort, “The Rebirth.”

The double-disc set features veterans (Jon B, Tank, Too $hort), newcomers (Sevyn, Sage the Gemini, Problem, Kid Ink) and more. The first single, “I Don’t Want Her,” debuts on the Rhythmic airplay chart at No. 37 today (Feb. 10). It’s Bellinger’s first solo hit.

“The Rebirth” follows Bellinger’s three-part mixtape set, “Born II Sing.” He debuted “Volume 3” in May.
His most recent collaboration with Chris Brown, “Love More,” featuring Nicki Minaj, has 694,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. “Love More” peaked at No. 7 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and No. 23 on Hot 100.
