
Eminem plans to re-release his 1999 album, The Slim Shady LP, on cassette. The Detroit rapper didn’t give a specific release date other than “coming soon” in his Twitter announcement Friday (March 4).

The tweet included a link to Eminem’s Shady Records website, where fans can sign up for early access to the upcoming cassette, along with exclusive merchandise.

The Slim Shady LP, Eminem’s second album, was released in February 23, 1999. It debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The set included such popular tracks as “My Name Is,” “Just Don’t Give a F–k” and “Guilty Conscience,” among others.
Eminem has been laying low as of late, but is scheduled to perform at three upcoming South American Lollapalooza festivals, starting with Sao Paulo, Brazil, on March 12. His last album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, arrived in 2013.
