Eminem made his much-anticipated return with Revival on Friday (Dec. 15), and the 19-track album has fans buzzing after waiting four years for new Em material. The 45-year-old rapper recruited a handful of familiar names for his latest record, from Beyoncé to Ed Sheeran to P!nk, and just like the variety of special guests, there’s also a variety in sounds and lyrics on Revival.
Whether you’re into hard-hitting beats like those on “Believe” or heartfelt lyricism such as the lines in “Bad Husband,” Eminem is delivering it all with Revival. There’s also samples of classic songs sprinkled throughout, like “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” in “Remind Me” and even the fictional Dirk Diggler song from Boogie Nights on the album — there’s literally something for everyone, which likely means fans will be all over the board when it comes to picking a favorite.
