Imitation is truly the sincerest form of flattery. Just ask Eminem. The hip-hop icon gave an enthusiastic thumbs-up on Tuesday (Feb. 5) to comedian Chris D’Elia’s impressively spot-on impression of the rapper’s flow. “This is INCREDIBLE!!! 4 a second I actually thought it WAS me!!,” Marshall tweeted about a recently posted video in which D’Elia stands in a garage filled with boxes busting a freestyle in Em’s gruff cadence.

D’Elia had tagged Em in the original post last week, in which he furiously raps such gibberish as, “I’m playin in a hat trick with Danica Patrick/ I’m singin’ in an accent/ Nick Cannon’s fantastic/ There’s oxes and foxes/ There’s oxes and foxes/ While I’m listening to the Loxes,” aping the MC’s signature twisty flow.
D’Elia was overjoyed that Em took notice.

The comedian has been working on the impression for a while, first revealing it in a video released last year.
