E-40 is gearing up to unleash his 29th studio album, Practice Makes Paper, come July 26. The Bay Area legend kicks off the album’s rollout with the star-filled “Chase the Money” on Tuesday (June 18). The single is fittingly produced by Chase the Money and features assists from Quavo, Roddy Ricch, A$AP Ferg and ScHoolboy Q.
The talented squad of trappers meet up in an abandoned warehouse to plan an intricate heist with a few badass women who are unafraid to mix it up in the crime world. Between the black-and-white facepaint and the crew’s roundtable conversations, director Ben Griffin pulls inspiration from the Hughes brothers’ 1995 drama Dead Presidents to execute his vision.
The 51-year-old’s Practice Makes Paper album is fully loaded with a range of diverse features and boasts an exhausting 26 tracks. 40 deploys an army of rappers, including appearances by Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy, Fabolous, Method Man, Tee Grizzley and more.
