After melting the hearts of R&B aficionados with their debut album Sept. 5, OVO’s DVSN returns with their sophomore attempt, Morning After.
The 13-track project finds singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85 providing more slow-churning anthems and romantic tales suitable for the bedroom. After tantalizing fans with “Mood,” “Don’t Choose” and “Think About Me,” DVSN’s latest offering is a beastly endeavor which solidifies their standing in R&B.
“Sept. 5th in a way works like a mixtape; it’s an introductory piece,” Daley told Rolling Stone. “This time around, we definitely have some records that we think have a bigger space to occupy.”
“We’re separating from the pack,” he added. “When they’re all in the club, we might just stay in.”
