It’s no secret that Drake is big Michael Jordan fan, so it’s no surprise to see the Toronto rapper featured in a Super Bowl commercial to promote the iconic shoes named after the basketball legend.

Ahead of Super Bowl 50 on Sunday (Feb. 8), Jordan shoes shared a black-and-white commercial featuring Drake reminiscing about his introduction to Jordans. Watch below.
“My first pair of Jordans was the Jordan 15s in the white with the carolina blue,” the “Jumpan” rapper recalls in the minute-long spot. “I’ll never forget it because it was a gift from my father.”

He continues, “My life is to go out there and get on that stage, you know, act as if I am Mike. Act as if it is the playoffs. Act as if there is a championship trophy to be won. But when I’m walking through the tunnel, I have the same fire in my eyes.”
Drake also stars in a Super Bowl commercial for T-Mobile. The ad is a spoof of his meme-packed music video for “Hotline Bling.”
