After making appearances in Toronto and New York City on Drake’s Aubrey and The Three Migos Tour, it was only right for Travis Scott to serenade his hometown of Houston. Drizzy delivered once again as La Flame popped up for a surprise cameo on night two in H-Town Sunday (Sept. 30), much to the delight of the packed out Toyota Center.
Scott brought the energy in the arena to another level once his presence was known throughout the phone-lit venue. “Houston!” he screamed, before excitedly reciting his verse to their chart-smashing hit “Sicko Mode,” while wearing his buddy James Harden’s Rockets jersey. “Houston, make some noise. Everybody, two hands up,” he instructed the crowd.
Drake dedicated night one in Houston to a 19-year-old girl, Sabrina Herrera, who was brutally murdered by her boyfriend a month ago. “So look, tonight, I just want to start the show a little different. It’s a young girl by the name of Sabrina Herrera, and she was supposed to be at the show tonight,” said the somber OVO rapper. “She had saved her money, she had gotten tickets, she had bought an outfit.”
The 6 God has one more show lined up in the Bayou City on Tuesday (Oct. 2), following a well-deserved day off.
